"That would be Sunset Hill. Not to far from here. In fact, it's a rather simply path." He said as he lead the way to their destination. As predicted, it didn't take them long to get there. Elroy walked over and sat down at the edge of the hill, facing the sunset, and motioned for her to sit beside him.

She followed suit and sat down. She smiled at him before digging into her popsicle. Something had been digging at her since the incident in the Underground. She finished the ice cream and looked at the stick. No WINNER. She sighed silently and began to doodle in the dirt with the used stick. Without looking at him, she said, "Elroy, sorry you had to see that earlier in the tunnels."

It took him a moment to respond, as it then dawned on him why she thought she was a monster. "Don't worry about it. We all have our flaws. It doesn't make you any more a monster than anyone else." He said soothingly with a voice of silk. He just wanted her to cheer up. He hated seeing her upset.

"It's not my flaw that makes me a monster, it's what I do because of it." she answered, tears beginning to form.

Without a second though, he scooted closer and offered her a comforting hug. "If you wish to tell me, feel free. It won't change how I think of you. If not though, I'll still be here if you ever do wish to tell me." Elroy said calmly. His voice was sincere and almost loving. The sunlight reflected off of his crystal blue eyes, making them seem even more inviting, calm, and serene.

(OoC - A few moments pass as Isis tearfully explains the death of her family.) She basically latched onto him, squeezing him much harder than she meant to. She pressed her face into his shoulder, the tears soaking into his shirt. Her face burned with deep sorrow, regret, and hate.

He ignored the fact that it felt like she was going to crush his ribs and hugged her back, occasionally running a hand down her back comfortingly. "I'm sorry about your family, Isis. You had no control over it, though. You didn't do that on purpose. That doesn't make you a monster, but a victim. Only if you had done it intentionally would you ever be considered a monster." He said quietly, not wanting to talk too loud with her ear so close.

She pulled her head out of his shoulder, leaving a puddle of tears soaked into his shirt. Her face was red from the tears, her eyes too. "I guess then I would of become a Heartless, huh?"

Though not intentionally, he visibly winced at the comment. Just her saying that reminded him of the whole reason he set out on this journey of knowledge, and adventure of helping. The memory was all too vivid, all too clear. Still, he managed to shake it away for the time being. "More than likely." He said finally, not realizing that his voice was shaking a little. "I don't take kindly to Heartless or monsters... Yet I try to treat you like a princess. What does that tell you?

She smiled briefly at his comment. She had noticed the wince he gave. "Elroy, why did you wince? Are you sore from being slammed into a wall?"

"No, no." He said, before stopping, thinking about it and chuckling. "Well, I am, but that was not the reason. Though I do think I may have some fractured ribs, though that also was not the reason." He smiled, almost silently hoping she wouldn't ask.

"Well, if that's not it, then what's up?" She asked, looking concerned for her friend's ribcage.

The blue-haired man's face changed in an instant. His express fell and his eyes were filled with a deep, honest sorrow."I didn't want you to have to hear this about me. I really am a different person now... I suppose though, you need to know who you are hanging out with..."
[With a shaking voice, Elroy told her about what had happened when he was 18, and how he became a Heartless/Nobody. No censorship, no lies]
"I hope that you will no judge me for those wicked deeds of the past. I've changed, I'm not the mere boy I was then. I hope this doesn't change things between us... As I said... You are my only living friend. Now you know why."

"Well, that sucks. I'm glad you grew out of that." she chuckled slightly, not because she was nervous, but because she was trying to cheer up the situation. "Not at all, I mean, what would be the sense of a monster judging a prince?"

He gave a quiet chuckle and hugged her. "I am nothing more than a common man awaiting judgement from a queen, if you want to speak metaphors. Glad to know that the beautiful one here with me has decided to spare me." He returned, his usual calm, happy, sweet attitude returning. Elroy let go of her and looked back toward the sunset with a smile. "You know. I feel better now... You are the first one I could tell that story to. It feels good to get something like that off my chest. Truly I thank you, Isis."
