Welcome Home... Or Not [Jemeryx]

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Even though she really had no place to go, Kaylee was glad to be home. After being out training with Zack, she needed some down time. What better place to have it than in your hometown? The Keyblade wielder wandered the streets, looking at everything before finally going off into the park where she used to stay.

Suddenly, a dark corridor opened up a few yards in front of the girl, Nothing Thorns surrounding it. As the dark portal closed, a figure in a dark coat stood there. He extended an arm, his hand outstretched toward her. "Give me your heart." No emotion was evident in his voice.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

"Uuuuuuuh." She said, backing up and summoning her Keyblade. "I'm not sure you want my heart, Mister..."

[Jemeryx]

"It's not me that requires it. Kingdom Hearts thirst for your heart, it is starved and requires more hearts to feed upon. Can't you feel it calling to your own heart?" he called to her from behind his hood. Thorns began to wrap and swirl around his reaching hand.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

"Um, no. I can't." She said, backing up a little more. "I'm not sure it would want a heart so full of Darkness anyway..."

[Jemeryx]

"Light or Dark," began the leader Nobody as he turned his hand over, the thorns beginning to go out in one direction, "it doesn't matter, a heart is a heart." He clenched his fist, the Nothing Thorns formed a large, wide-bladed sword. It was a grey color, having the white and black thorn designs going down the blade with the end shaped like the top half of the Nobody emblem. He then lunged at the girl, swinging horizontally.

With a small yelp, she threw her Keyblade up to block the attack before jumping back. Now she knew, peace was not an option. So she took to the offensive, using quick run to get behind him before launching her own horizontal attack.

He used his own quick run to move away from her. He jumped high into the sky, creating a small platform of Nothingness. He waved his free hand in front of him, suspending several of his Desolation in the air. "Go!" he ordered as he dropped off of the platform, it diminishing as he stopped touching it, the ethereal blades fired at Kaylee. No sooner had his feet touch the ground, did he quickly dash toward her, the tip of his blade aimed for her stomach.

In an effort to assure she didn't get a sword in the stomach, she dodged to the side, right into the path of one of the flying blades. It only grazed her, but it still stung. However, she couldn't stay still. Being still was likely to get her killed. So she cast Thundara at him before dashing up to him and letting loose a flurry of attacks.

He took the magic, knowing he'd only have time to block/dodge one of her attacks. He feigned a stagger, but as she closed the distance he lifted a hand toward her. "Door!" he called, a checkerboard-designed wall came up between them. He did a jumping flip backwards as he disintegrated the sword. The Nothing Thorns swirled around his body, creating several spears that floated in the air. As soon as they solidified, however, they stabbed into the ground, except for two, which Jemeryx grabbed, one in each hand. "Prepare yourself, Somebody."

He changed to a ranged weapon... My best bet is magic then... she thought, stopping short of where the barrier just was. The black-haired girl flipped back and cast Thandara again, mostly waiting to see where he would move to.

[Jemeryx]

Jemeryx redirected the lightning-based magic away from him with a spear, spinning while doing so, building up momentum. As he returned to his original position, he launched a spear at the Light Realmer. He kicked one of the spears that was in the ground, causing it to come up. He grabbed it mid-air and jumped high into the sky, sending both the ones in his hands at her, each at different angles and different levels in the air. He landed on another Nothingness platform, watching to see how she would react.

Kaylee managed to dodge the first and second one, but the third one hit her dead on. With a small whimper of pain, she cast more Thundara at him, now just hoping for a chance to heal.

The leader of the Organization stepped back, stomping his foot on the edge of the platform, causing it to flip over, making him launch toward the ground, the magic destroyed the platform. He landed, grabbing the last spear as he flipped himself over, landing in a crouched position. He lifted it up and made it shimmer out, the thorns swirled around him arms and made emblem-like tonfas. He took an offensive stance as he waited for the Somebody to ready themselves, not wanting the battle to end so quickly. He didn't understand boredom, or even remember what it felt like, but he guessed a short battle would make him bored. If he had a heart that is.

When she noticed that he was waiting, she took the chance to use Cure, but never let her guard down. When she was done, she took her battle stance, noting his now very close range weapons. A full on a attack might work, but she wanted to see what he would do first.
