A Bit of Pride [Zack Connor]

[Kaylee Silverlake]

When the gummi ship landed, Kaylee jumped out, excited to be somewhere new. However, as she crossed the barrier between gummi ship and Pride Lands, she was transformed into a beautiful black lioness. It took her a second, but when she noticed, she let out a squeak of joy. "I'm a kitty!" She roared. "Zack, Zack! I'm a kitty!" She started running around, trying to get used to having 4 legs. This was going to be difficult, but she thought she could manage it.

[Zack Connor]

Zack got out of the gummi ship, stumbling when he transformed into a brown lion. "Whoa!" he yelled, a little startled. After the initial shock wore off, Zack smiled. "This is amazing! Oh, wait, I wonder how fast I can run now!" After saying this he started taking off, running in a wide circle, and then finally stopping when he reached Kaylee again, obviously pleased. "Well, now what? There's that giant rock over there. Kind of an interesting formation. Or we could check out that place over there, the one with all the bones. Looks like a good place to train."

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee dropped down into a playful stance. "Let's got check out the bones! Race ya!" She yelled, taking off running. As a human she was incredibly quick. Her speed as a lion was phenomenal.

[Zack Connor]

Zack took off behind her, knowing speed was one of his strong points. It took a little while, but soon they were neck to neck in their race. He then used all the energy he had to go into a full out sprint, and then fell down a steep incline he failed to notice. He tumbled down and collapsed on the bottom. He quickly got up and shook the dirt off of him. "I'm fine!" he yelled back up. He surveyed the area. He almost felt like he was being watched by something hiding among the bones.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee was still at a dead sprint, but gracefully jumped down beside Zack. "I win because I didnt fall." She laughed, headbutting him gently.

[Zack Connor]

Zack laughed. "Alright." he replied. He looked around again, and after still not seeing anything, started walking off through the bones. "You would think there would be something around here. Do you see anything?"

[Kaylee Silverlake]

"Nope. But you would think there would be." She purred, sniffing around.

[Zack Connor]

He journeyed a little farther through the area, until he came upon what looked like the skull of an elephant. Wow, this thing is big! he thought. "Hey! Come check out this thing!" he yelled to Kaylee.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee started to run toward Zack, but moment caught her attention. She looked, but what ever it was had gone, for now. After spend up a bit longer making sure it was gone, she pranced over to Zack. "I thought I saw something moving out there." She admitted, before actually looking at what he was showing her. "Wooooow! It's so huge!"

[Zack Connor]

"You might have seen something, actually. I felt like something was watching me earlier," Zack commented.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

"Hm. That's weird." She said, wandering off to investigate. "Let's see if we can find it."

[Zack Connor]

Zack walked with Kaylee, looking around and preparing himself in case anything were to jump out. He summoned Sleeping Lion, but wasn't prepared for it to appear in his mouth. "Oh..." Zack said. "Didn't think about that." He resummoned it multiple times until finally, he managed to get a hold on it.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee purred in amusement and continued to look around. Soon, she saw what appeared to be an orb of darkness floating in the air. "Hey, what's that?" She quizzed, walking toward it.

[Zack Connor]

"Hey! 'is is har'er 'an it 'ooks," Zack mumbled, trying to talk past his keyblade. He looked at the darkness. "Uh... I 'on't..." Zack desummoned his Keyblade. "I don't know what that's supposed to be, but it can't be good." He looked around, almost expecting to see someone that was conjuring the darkness, but he didn't see anyone.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee ignored him and got close enough that she could practically smell the darkness on it. It was odd, she felt the compulsion to touch it. Finally she did ad the whole area was swallowed in Darkness.
