Isis stepped out of the cab and offered the drive the toll, only for him to smile and shake his head. I guess it's a good thing I'm so gregarious. she chuckled to herself as he drove off. She turned around and looked at the city. "So, this is Twilight Town? I wonder where I can get some ice cream?" She soon scurried off to find her favorite treat, meeting new people and making new friends along the way.

Elroy sat near the ice-cream shop, writing and watching. He was looking for people that needed help, but also studying people's day to day interactions. His gaze soon fell upon a woman with hair the color of the water. She seemed to be a lot more out going than most here. He was curious of her name, but chose to wait and watch. He never was really good with people anyway, hence him sitting alone.

She saw him simply sitting there, so, being like she was, decided to say hi to him. She walked over to the man with hair roughly the same color as hers. "Hi ya, whatcha doing?"

Elroy looked up at her and smiled, standing up to offer her a seat on the small bench. "Merely waiting to be needed, doing a little studying in the meantime." He answered. After a moment he extended a hand. "I'm Elroy Cross." No reason to be intentionally rude to someone he just meet.

She took his hand and shook it vigorously. "I'm Iris Clearwater." She had a large, goofy grin on her face. "Would you like to get some ice cream with me?" she asked after giving him his hand back.

"Isn't it convenient that I decided to sit beside the Ice Cream Shop today? I will go with you to get the ice cream, but I do not want one. I'm not much for sweet food." Elroy explained, gathering up his things and walking to the window. "In fact, I could buy you one if you wish."

Her jaw dropped at his comment on not liking ice cream. "How could you not like ice cream?!" She regained her composer when he asked if he could buy the ice cream. "If you really want to, I don't want to put you in a bind." She smiled warmly at him. It wasn't everyday that a cute guy offered to buy you something they themselves didn't like.

"No, no. I'll be fine." He insisted, turning to the man at the window and purchasing the frozen dessert. After a quick thanks and giving the man his money, he turned back and handed his company the treat. "And to your previous question, I'm just not fond of sweet things. They do not appeal to my tastes. I prefer bitter foods."

She took the frozen treat from her new friend, her eyes full of wonderment. "How did you know that I like Sea-salt ice cream?"

"To say I knew would be incorrect." He said with a smile. "I assumed because most people seem to like Sea-salt Ice Cream and you see like the the Sea-salt kind of girl."

"Well, that's probably because Sea-salt is my favorite. I absolutely love it, and for some reason, it seems to be the only thing that can calm me down if I'm angry." She chomped the ice cream twice before swallowing it and looking at the stick. "Aw, no winner."

That's good to know. He though, writing the newly acquired information now in a brand new journal. "Winner you say?" Elroy quizzed, curious about the significance.

"Yeah, if your ice cream stick says 'WINNER' on it then you can turn it in for a free ice cream." she explained as she threw the "loser" stick away.

"Interesting. The first, and last, time I tried one, I had one that said that. I wasn't sure what it meant, but I kept it anyway. Here." He took his bag off his shoulders and searched through it. Soon, his hand re-emerged with the aforementioned stick.

"But, I'm sure you've got plenty of other friends that could use that." she said, shocked that he would actually give her the WINNER stick.
