"That sounds like fun." she smiled. "You sure are really sweet Elroy. Paying for my ice cream and taking me out on these dates." She winked semi-playfully at him as she motioned toward the entrance. "Shall we?"

Elroy let out a nervous laugh, blushed and scratched the back of his head. He still wasn't used to her making these comments. However, when she asked if they should continue, he returned to his normal, composed self. "After you, Isis. I'm as unfamiliar with the tunnels as you."

"Oh goody, hope we don't die." she joked as she walked down the tunnel. They entered through Entrance 4 and explored the entirety of the main tunnels, leaving only Entrance 2 and the pathway to Sunset Terrace. "Wow, still can't believe we found a few Shadows crawling around in the middle area. They seemed like they had lost their purpose, why do you think that is?"

"Hm. Certainly is odd. I'm unsure." He admitted. Then he looked toward Entrance 2. "Well, maybe if we continue on, we will find out."

"I agree, c'mon!" she said as she ran ahead into the entrance. She came to a hallway that passed a large, rectangular room and zig-zagged off to the side, probably to Sunset Terrace. In the room, there was an odd, dark pulsating orb with a weird icon on it and grey/silver throny-looking things swirling around it. She walked over to it and reached up to touch it, she didn't mean to, it seemed to call out to her, enticing her to touch it.

"Isis, don't!" Elroy called. Too late. As she touched it, the whole area became engulfed in darkness. Though the world out side this orb of darkness went about normal life, Elroy and Isis were whisked away to somewhere else. [To read what was skipped, read here.]

The dark dome collapsed, revealing them to still be in the rectangular room. Isis was exhausted from the fight, and cut up from the duel with the replicant. She looked up at where the orb was, only to see a copy of the replica's weapon. It called to her, telling her its name and that she was its rightful owner now. She stumbled over to it and pulled it out of the floor. She easily wielded it and desummoned it. She dropped to her butt, sighing deeply. "Now, Elroy," she panted, "what the Hell was that all about?"

"That was a replica battle. I've studied them, but never actually been involved in one. No one knows why they appear or even how. I think that it's the memory of that person, manifesting into something physical, to test ones strength." Elroy said as he too sat down. He wasn't really tired as much as hurt. Being thrown into walls tended to do that. Finally he looked back at her. Shock and awe became apparent on his face. Her eyes were now a brilliant shade of gold and her scar was more refined. It was a rather pretty sight. Prettier than usual (which he didn't think was possible).
"I-Isis. Your eyes..." Was all he managed to stutter at first. Knowing she was going to have no idea what he meant, he stood back up and walked over to the shallow water around one side of the room, motioning her to follow. He waited for her come come over before pointed at the water, trying to get her to look. "I thought your eyes were pretty blue, but this brilliant gold... it looks beautiful on you. Your scar changed as well. It is more refined."

"R-really?" she asked, both confused as to why and filled with joy from the compliment. She looked into the puddle, and without a doubt, her eyes had become golden. Her scar had indeed become more refined, much like that guy they just fought. "Hey Elroy," she began, running a couple of fingers along the scar lines, "you said that guy was my great-grandpa's 'nobody?' What's that?"

"When someone gives into the Darkness, a Heartless is created. However, if that person has a strong will, the empty shell that his left behind begins to move and act with a will of it's own. That is what we call a Nobody. Nobodies cannot feel, as they have no heart. Nobodies like your Great-Grandfather as even more special. His kind remember what it was like to have a heart, and remember those emotions." Elroy explained with a smile, looking into her eyes. He just couldn't tear his eyes away from her. She looked simply gorgeous. "My father gave into the darkness too, and like Saix, became a Nobody. He was known as Vexen. They were both part of a group known as Organization XIII"

"I knew about the 'Heartless' stuff, loser." she chuckled. She tried to get up, only to fall back to where she sat. Turns out, she had been cut up pretty good and during the fight lost quite a bit of blood. Only now, after the adrenaline had stopped pumping and she was back to her senses had she noticed and began to feel light-headed.

Elroy knelt down beside her. "I hope you don't mind me carrying you back to the hotel. My Cure magic is less than grand..." He said, trying not to show the fact that he was more than worried about her well-being.

"Y'know, if you reached into my left back pocket, I've got two potions, one for the each of us. I carry them around just in case." she smiled at his sweet gesture.

Without a second thought, he moved to her left and pulled the potions out of her back pocket, careful not touch any of her wounds. Now there was only one problem, Elroy had never actually used one of these before. The look on his face confirmed that as he stared at the potion like it was a foreign substance.

She sighed. "Just spray it on the wounds, it's basically liquid band-aid." She cracked a small smile. He was smarter than most people she met, but wasn't the most observant.
