Malix walked through the corridors of The Castle That Never Was. He was walking relatively slow, because he was attempting to read and walk at the same time. He shut the book suddenly, for he reached the common area. He took a seat next to the fireplace, leaned his head back, and closed his eyes.

Xasantham entered the common area. She had just returned from her mission in Radiant Garden, and was disappointed in that she still found no trace of her lost brother. "Where could he be?" she said quietly to herself as she sat down on a sofa. She looked over and noticed Malix in another chair by the fire. "Sleepy?" she asked him.

"Sleepy is an understatement," he said, chuckling. He brought his head up slowly and looked over at Xasantham. He grinned at her. "I've literally done nothing today. And you...look depressed. Is there anything I can do?" he said, his eyes kind.

"Of course..." he trailed off for a minute. "C'mon, there's somewhere we need to go," Malix said, grinning and extending his hand.

Malix grinned and wrapped his arm around Xasantham. "Okay, so how do you feel about Sea Salt Ice Cream?"
