"Oh, Anamnesis. You know I never make the first move." Fright chuckled, a cocky smile spreading across his face. "Go on. Attack me, if you dare."

"Alright," Anamnesis responded, grinning. He charged towards Fright, but in anticipation of a counterattack, he suddenly swiftly jumped to the side and swung his flail.

The Pariah of Nightmares quickly dodged the flail and lunged at his friend, taking a swing at the other man's chest.

Anamnesis was knocked back by the blow, but quickly rolled back onto his feet and swung the flail in another attempt to hit Fright.

Fright tried to get away, but the flail caught him in the right shoulder, staggering him. He recovered quickly and lunged again. This time, he swung his sword at Anamnesis's left arm, and threw a punch at his ribs.

Anamnesis quickly slid back and managed to dodge the blade. He was going to try and entangle the blade with the flail and quickly yank it out of Fright's hand, but was stopped short when he got hit by Fright's punch. He staggered back from the blow, but quickly recovered. He kept his distance, trying to anticipate Fright's next move.

A smile crossed his face as his friend's quick recovery. A blow like that was no laughing matter and it pleased Fright to see the other Pariah could shrug it off. He wanted to see what Anamnesis's next move was going to be, but he decided to see if he could keep up instead. Fright darted forward and started throwing a series of hard swings, kicks and punched at his friend.

Despite his attempt to anticipate Fright's next move, it happened to quickly for him to get out of harm's way. He got hit by the first couple of hits, but then refocused himself quickly enough to duck and deliver a low kick to Fright's legs in an attempt to trip him.

Fright fell hard, but used his now lower height to his advantage. He swung at his friend's legs, attempting to bring him down too. Without waiting to see if it worked, Fright jumped up and back, re-assuming his battle stance.
