Painful Memories [Fright]

[Anamnesis]

Anamnesis wandered through the streets of Nullityville, just wanting to walk as he reflected on the past. He revisited precious memories in his mind, and visited his past failures even more, so that he may learn from his mistakes. He also paid attention to his accomplishments, so that he could take note of what worked. However, some memories that he visited took place before he and Ryan were Pariah, the time when they would spend each day as care-free individuals. We took so many things for granted. he thought miserably.

[Fright]

"Anamnesis." A familiar voice called. Fright jumped down from his perch, landing in front of of his friend. "I found them..." He knew his friend would understand. He had been searching for his girlfriend and sister for a long time. To have finally found them... if only this was such a happy occasion.

[Anamnesis]

Anamnesis looked at his friend. "I would say 'that's great' but I don't even have to read your memories to tell that is not the case. Not that I would read your memories without your permission, of course. What happened?"

[Fright]

"Rose is fine. She still retains her heart and moves about in the realm of Light. But Samantha... this is not the case. She is a full fledged Nobody." He answered before sitting down and drooping his head. A sigh escaped his mouth as he continued on his story. "What's worse... she is one of them... one of Jemeryx's puppets."

[Anamnesis]

"Wasn't that what your nightmares were telling you?" Anamnesis asked. "I'm sorry to hear about that."

[Fright]

"It's not your fault. You told me to believe the nightmares. They'd never lied to me before." The silverette man said. "Still, I cannot hate her. I'm sure you understand. She is my sister after all."

[Anamnesis]

Anamnesis just nodded. "So what's the plan? I'm sure you don't want to get rid of your sister along with the rest of..." Anamnesis stopped short as he considered the fact that Organization-supporting Nobodies could be around. "...them."

[Fright]

"I only wish I knew..." Fright sighed. "I don't want to slaughter her like the rest of those dogs, but I don't see much of a way around it."

[Anamnesis]

Anamnesis didn't say anything for a moment. He didn't want his friend to have to go through something like eliminating his own sister. "You do remember who you are talking about, right?" he asked. He conjured an image of Samantha from his own memories, from one of the times he had visited Ryan. "This is your sister. Are you completely sure there is no way around it? That she won't be actually helpful in the position she is in?"

[Fright]

Fright stared at the image before him, contemplating what his friend was saying. "Perhaps... though it would require her to betray her new friends. Do you really think she will?"

[Anamnesis]

"Depends on how close she really is with them," Anamnesis said. "I know you don't want to eliminate her. I don't think you have to."

[Fright]

"I hope not, but if it come to her or that downfall of Organization XIII..." He trailed off, almost ashamed of what he was fixing to say. "I'll focus on taking them all down."

[Anamnesis]

The image of Samantha faded away. "If that's what your set on. I have to ask, though. If you do have to eliminate her, when the time comes, will you have the strength?"

[Fright]

"Strength will not be the issues, friend. Will." Fright chuckled sadly. "Do I have the strength to? Yes. Do I want to? Not at all. But what must be done, must be done."

[Anamnesis]

Anamnesis smirked a little. "I was refering to the strength of your will." He then looked deep in thought. "Look. I know the relationship between you and your sister. I am quite sure that you two can find a compromise."
