The Start of Something [Ray Cozart]

Ray's jaw slammed to the floor and eyes bugged out of his head simultaneously, creating a truly comical sight. After he lifted his chin back up, and pushed his eyeballs back in, he mustered a breath. "Daaaaaaaaaaamn!" his exclamation echoed in the room. "You weren't kidding."

[Alex Faith]

"Why would I have been?" She laughed, disappearing into the shelves, searching for her book. "This library has been here since before I was born. Some of these boos are older than my dad." She said, trying to make conversation. "Oh, and feel free to look around."

[Ray Cozart]

"Alrighty," he nodded, "will do." He walked around and looked at several different instruments. "Hmm, I wonder..." he trailed off, accidentally speaking out loud. He held his hand out in front of him and tried to summon his weapon, but instead the Kingdom Key formed. "Damn."

[Alex Faith]

A few moments later, Alex emerged from the labyrinth of bookcases. "Here we go. Now Heartless...."

[insert long explanation about Heartless here.]

"The rest you really just kind of learn as you go. Did you get all of that?" Alex asked, snapping the book shut.

[Ray Cozart]

Still holding the Kingdom Key, Ray asked, "What do you mean 'Heartless have hearts?!' C'mon, that doesn't make any sense. And where the Hell are we going to find a 'Keyblade?'"

[Alex Faith]

"Confusing I know. And Ray, you are holding a Keyblade smart one." Alex laughed, pointing to the Kingdom Key. "The most basic for of it. Still a Keyblade. You are one of the Keyblade's chosen. As am I." She summoned Lost Memory to her and and held it out in front of her. "See?"

[Ray Cozart]

"Oh, I didn't know that." he huffed as he desummoned it. Upon her summoning his eyes grew in wonderment. "That's a Keyblade? It looks so cool! So, wait, do all Keyblades just called 'Keyblades?'"

[Alex Faith]

The have different names, but they are all Keyblades." She explained. "The one you just had was the Kingdom Key. The base form. This one is called Lost Memory. The Keyblade chooses it's master. Usually it will also lead the wielder to the keychain it needs to be the best form for that person. At least, that's what Granpa Riku always told me." Then she though for a little bit. "How long have you wielded the Keyblade, Ray?"

[Ray Cozart]

"Since I was little." he shrugged an answer as he looked over the Kingdom Key. "I'd show you them, but I'm not back to full strength quite yet."

[Alex Faith]

"Wait. Them?" She asked, almost hoping he was just confused.

[Ray Cozart]

"Yeah, I've got two." he sounded confused. He summoned his other Kingdom Key in the normal grip in his left hand. "Why?"

[Alex Faith]

Alex's jaw dropped as she stared at the second Keyblade. "Well I'll be damned... You are a sync-blader..." She said, finally shaking off the amazement. "That's so cool."

[Ray Cozart]

"I'm a what-now?" he asked, not sure if he should be offended or happy.

[Alex Faith]

"A sync-blander. You can wield two Keyblades." Alex explained excitedly. "It's quiet a rare ability. I can be learned, but it takes tons of skill. It's usually inherited." She never thought she would meet a sync-blader. Keybladers were rare enough these days, but a sync-blader?

[Ray Cozart]

"Oh, cool." he had a huge goofy smile on his face as he desummoned the weapons. "Hmm, inherited, you say. I remember Grandpa Sora telling me something about dual wielding something like the Keyblade. When I get stronger I'll show you my actual Keyblades, if you'd like."
