Now, The closet is smaller than the on in my room, but I don't think that'll be a problem and, OH! If you want this decorated more to your liking, just say so. Red and gold may not be everyone's forte." The room was currently painted in a dark, brilliant shade of red, trimmed with gold baseboards and leaf-like embellishments. "Anything I am forgetting?"

Alex kicked herself mentally. Damn you Alexandria! Slow your roll. She growled in her head. "Yeah sorry about that. I guess I'm just glad to have a new friend and help. You are after all only my second friend, and the only one to ever help me." She admitted, scratching the back of her head. Most people wouldn't know she only had two friends. She was young, rich, and beautiful (though she didn't know it). Most would assume she had friends or question why she didn't.

He made an embarrassed face. "That's more than me. You're the first friend I've ever had." He looked at his feet, extremely uncomfortable in his own skin all of a sudden.

Alex was obviously surprised. Why, of all people, did the guy who could win Alex's trust more than most only have one friend? She couldn't help herself. "Do... do you mind me asking why that is? I mean... you are so friendly. Only tell me if you want to. I understand, I'm still technically a stranger."

"I've never really stayed in one world for very long, let alone any one place. Plus, most people play me off as a homeless kid. I mean, look at me." He spread his arms out, showing the fullness of the damage to his clothes. His hair was greasy from several days without washing, his gloves and sleeves where severally frayed, the jacket itself had several stitches from rips and tears, one of his pants' legs had a patch on the knee, and his boots were greatly scuffed up, nearly falling apart.

At first she had somewhat of a sad look on her face, then she smiled. "It adds character, in my opinion. If there is one thing I've learned it's never trust someone's appearance. Like you, you like like someone ran you clothes through a shredder and dipped you in grease. Yet, you are only the second person that doesn't work for me to be invited to stay. Only the second to become my friend." She looked more serious now than she had the entire time he had been here. Obviously this was touching something deep. "Besides, you should feel really lucky... you are the only guy I haven't tried to kill on sight. That's always a plus, itsn't it?

She stopped and looked at him. "Would you rather be clueless, listen to me ramble, or just glance over a book?" Came a very serious question after hearing the sarcasm in his voice. If did rub her the wrong way a bit when she was only trying to help.

Alex gave a smile. "How about this, I'LL look over the book, then ramble. That was I know what I'm telling you is correct." With that, she continued up the next flight of stairs, then the next. The last flight of stairs led up not into a hallway like the others, but to a single door. "I will warn you. There are a lot of books, video games, and musical instruments in here" She chuckled before opening the door and walking in.
