Chaos Ripper Battle [Kaylee Silverlake, 11-18-11]

[Kaylee Silverlake]

As the Darkness dissipated, Kaylee and her new found friend were standing in what appeared to be a large arena. "Where are we, Zack?" She asked, looking around. This place sure was different. All that could be see was a orb, similar to what they saw before, in front of them. This time it was bigger and had what looked like a Key-chain on it. "Do you think that will take us back to the Pride Lands?"

[Zack Connor]

"What the..." Zack said, surprised by the sudden change of scenery. "Wha- I don't know Kaylee." It then occured to him that he was human again. "Hey! We're not lions right now. Do you think... this is a different world?"

[Kaylee Silverlake]

"Has to be." She said, walking towards the sphere and inspecting it. "I wander what this thing is." Again, the urge was irresistible and she had to touch it.

[Zack Connor]

Something caught Zack's eye. Someone was standing on the other side of the arena, staring at them, his body radiating with the power of darkness. His gaze shifted to focus on Kaylee. "Kaylee, we're not alone," Zack said quietly. The man summoned a Keyblade, and began to charge toward them.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee looked up and blocked just in time. It was then she realized who it was. Quickly she deflected the blow and back away. Tears started to form in her bright green eyes and she collapsed to the round, unwilling to fight this person.

[Zack Connor]

The man lifted his Keyblade, preparing to deal another blow, with the blade infused with darkness. Zack realized that Kaylee wasn't going to make any effort to block. "Kaylee!" he yelled, leaping forward and blocking the blow, and then swung his Keyblade at the man. The man took the blow and staggered back, almost as if he was surprised that Zack was attempting to fight. The man sank into his shadow, which then drifted toward Zack. Zack, unprepared for this unusual move, was smacked upward when the man suddenly ascended from the depths of the dark shadow. The man got ready to hit Zack again as he came back down, the blade filling with darkness once more.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

I can't fight my own brother! Kaylee cried in her head. It wasn't just that she was having to fight Terra, but seeing him in the state he was taxing. She wasn't even paying attention to what was going on around her. It wasn't until Zack got launched into the air that she understood. I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry, Terra... As quick as lightning, Kaylee rushed forward and lashed out at Terra, knocking him away from Zack. Tears streamed slowly and steadily down her face. She didn't want to do this, but she knew she had too. She had to protect Zack. She had to fight the Darkness. Even if it manifested as her own brother.

[Zack Connor]

Zack fell hard on the ground. He sat up, casting cure on himself before getting up. Terra now looked at Kaylee. He quickly slid in one direction, and then slid toward Kaylee, darkness flowing from him as he did.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee block several of Terra's slides, but not all. "Zack, are you alright?" She asked after the barrage of Chaos Blade. Then, it hit her. "Wait. Zack... you... you do know who this is right?"

[Zack Connor]

"No, I don't!" Zack yelled back, a little more focused on the fight as he charged forward. Terra saw him coming and outstretched his hand. Darkness formed from the hand, and another hand, seeming to be made of darkness, shoved Zack back with great strength. Zack fell on his back, and quickly got back up, a little frustrated.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylle rushed forward and unleashed a flurry of attacks, forcing Terra back. "Zack... this is Terra Silverlake! This... This is my brother!" She called back, tears still in her eyes. She rushed at Terra again, this time locking Keyblades with him. He was physically stronger than her, so he slowly forced her to the ground.

[Zack Connor]

"This is your brother?!" Zack yelled. He saw Terra forcing Kaylee down, and instantly rushed up and slashed at him several times, hitting Terra back with each blow, until Terra blocked the last strike with enough force to stun Zack. Terra then hit Zack hard with his darkness-infused Keyblade, sending him flying back. Zack collapsed on the ground. As he slowly got back up, Terra unleashed a volley of dark spheres hurtling to Zack, then turned his attention toward Kaylee again as he charged at her.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Kaylee was able to recover just in time to dodge Terra's rush, but she wasn't able to get to Zack in time. Instead she jumped in between Zack and Terra. "Thundara!" She called, unleashing a powerful bolt of lightning on her brother. I'm sorry, Terra... I can't let our Darkness swallow him too... I have to protect him from this... Her thoughts echoed again. Then her thoughts suddenly flashed to a training session her and Terra had as kids.

"Kaylee... You can't be afraid to throw a few punches." Terra said, walking over to help his sister up again.

"Sorry, Terra, I don't want to hurt you." The girl sad sadly. Terra laughed and walked with her back to the house. Just before the got to the door, Terra stopped, looking his sister in the eyes.

"Kay, I want you to promise me something."

"What is it Terra?"

"If anything ever happens to me, and the Darkness takes me... Don't be afraid to free me. Fight me with everything you have. Protect thoes who will help you find your light..."[/i]

Kaylee glanced back up at her brother and gave a sheepish smile. "Alright... just as promised Terra..." She said aloud. With a sudden new found confidence, she made the next move, rushing her brother with her full force.

[Zack Connor]

After getting hit with several spheres of darkness, Zack lay on the ground, barely strong enough to cast cure on himself, and even then could only weakly get up. Terra tried his best to match the force of Kaylee's attacks with his blocks, but he was starting to get forced back. Finally, he started getting hit, unable to recover fast enough to block the remainder of the attacks.

[Kaylee Silverlake]

Using her speed and Terra's lack there of to her advantage, she started hitting him a few times, jumping away, then attacking from a different angle. She cast Cure a couple of times to help Zack, but her Cure was only basic, so she new it didn't heal much. After her flurry of attacks ended, she jumped back father, running over to help Zack up while Terra was disoriented.
